Who We Are

GAPS (Global Aid Partnerships) is an Australian-based organisation which focuses on establishing partnerships for sustainable growth across the developed and developing world. GAPS is neither politically nor religiously affiliated and does not discriminate on the basis of age, gender or ethnicity.
In particular, GAPS seeks to assist those people and communities who have been ‘forgotten’ by governments and other aid organisations. Most of our projects are based in remote and rural areas.
GAPS is involved in a number of projects in Kenya in our focus areas of education, health, microfinance and rural development. Planning for further projects is also underway.
The work of GAPS is based on a model of partnerships. We aim to facilitate partnerships between individuals, organisations and communities. This creates an interaction that is rewarding for those in both developing and developed countries.
Partnerships can transform the relationship between ‘donor’ and ‘recipient’ into a cultural exchange which allows for the establishment of friendships, and the mutually-rewarding sharing of ideas and inspiration.
