Basic package:
$1400
includes:
airport transfers
all meals and accommodation
three day orientation program upon arrival, two night depature program
three week volunteer placement
celebratory dinner at end of the program

Deposit for basic package: $250
Extended Program:
every additional week +$180
Flights:
GAPS is able to assist with arranging flights for volunteers. Many participants choose this option as it enables you to travel to Africa as a group with other volunteers.
The following are estimates - please note this is subject to usual market fluctuations:
To Kenya:
Ex Australia: $2200
Ex UK: $750
To Rwanda:
Add $400 onto the Kenya price
Flights departing from other destinations can also be arranged; for further information speak to a GAPS representative.
Accomodation changes
single room supplement +$100
(for orientation program)
Note that single rooms may not be available at many of the volunteer sites. For further details speak to your GAPS representative.
Sightseeing tours
GAPS is able to assist with arranging sightseeing tours for volunteers. Many participants choose this option as it enables you to travel as a group with other volunteers.
The following are estimates - please note this is subject to usual market fluctuations:
Maasai Mara and Nakuru safari (four days, three nights) +$480
Lamu (including flights) +$570
Mombasa Trip +$250
Maasai Village Weekend Stay (Imutan) +$150
Mountain Gorillas (Uganda or Rwanda) +$850 from Kigali/Kampala
Gisenyi Weekend Stay +$100 from Kigali
White-water Rafting Weekend Stay +$140 from Kampala
